World Cup star names Liverpool as his dream club amid Chelsea interest
The Croatia international was heavily linked with the move to Graham Potter’s side during the summer transfer window, however, any deal didn’t materialise.
Chelsea have not cooled down their interest in the defender, who shined for his national team at World Cup 2022 in Qatar.
A number of top sides are now interested in Gvardiol’s services, though the player’s warmest feelings are connected with Liverpool.
“My dream club? That would definitely be Liverpool. Since I was little, I watched a lot of their matches with my dad,” he said, via Anfield Watch.
“We covered every season in detail. It is a club that has remained in my heart,” Gvardiol added.
