Wonderkid snubs Arsenal for rival club in £13m transfer deal

Arsenal’s pursuit of Toulouse’s rising star Fares Chaibi seems to have hit a roadblock, as the youngster appears to have agreed to a summer transfer to Eintracht Frankfurt. The 20-year-old, who has enjoyed an impressive breakthrough campaign this season, has caught the eye of several top clubs across Europe with his versatility and attacking prowess.

Chaibi’s eight goals and six assists from his position as a flexible forward have not gone unnoticed, with Arsenal reportedly expressing interest in the Algerian international last year.

However, it seems that a move to Germany is now on the cards for the promising youngster, with reports claiming that he has reached a ‘verbal agreement’ with Eintracht Frankfurt.

The Bundesliga outfit has been in search of attacking reinforcements, and Chaibi’s performances have impressed their scouting team.
