Why was Arsenal vs Manchester City postponed and when it will be played?
The Gunners were supposed to host City in the Premier League on October 19, however, it was postponed.
The reason for the postponement was that after the death of Queen Elizabeth II on September 8 several games were postponed and one of those was Arsenal’s Europa League group stage game against PSV.
The Europa League game was later rescheduled for October 20, which is one day later than the initial date for Arsenal vs Manchester City.
The rescheduling resulted of the postponement of the Premier League game.
It has been reported that the game between Mikel Arteta’s side and Pep Guardiola’s side will be rescheduled for ‘early in the new year’, broadcast live on Amazon Prime.
