West Ham could allow defender to leave if they find replacement
Ryan Taylor believes that the 32-year-old’s current situation at the London Stadium looking much further from perfect.
The defender has lost his spot in David Moyes’ regular starters and as the journalist claims Dawos still lives in Manchester, so it won’t be simple for him to remain with a team in London.
Dawson Dawson signed for the Hammers on loan from Watford in 2020 before making his move permanent in 2021/22.
Speaking to Give Me Sport, Taylor revealed details on the player’s future claiming he was close to joining fellow Premier League rival Wolves in the summer. However, the deal never happened as it was ‘too late’ to get a replacement.
“I think there’s a good chance he could actually leave West Ham in January providing a replacement is signed.
“I think he still lives in Manchester, which is crazy, so he wants to get a move back that way.
“Wolves were linked in the summer and I think he was told he couldn’t go because it was too late in the window to get a replacement.”
