Rio Ferdinand Reveals What Ronaldo Told Him About Manchester United Future
Manchester United Attacker, Cristiano Ronaldo isn’t happy with the situation of things at Old Trafford, according to former Defender, Rio Ferdinand.
The former Real Madrid man has seen lesser game time since the arrival of their new boss, Erik ten Hag.
Being the highest goal scorer last season, Ronaldo expected to start the season in superb form but the manager has instead offered him what seemed like a permanent spot on the bench.
Ronaldo has now been used in more Europa League games than Premier League games and Ferdinand has shared that the 37-year-old isn’t very happy about that.
Speaking on Ronaldo, Ferdinand said; “I’ve been speaking with him recently and he just seems so calm.
“Of course he’s a little angry he isn’t playing. But he just said to me ‘I know my chance will come, and I score goals.'”
Ronaldo has only managed just one goal since the start of the 2022/2023 season which came during their last match but same time wasn’t just one goal as it helped him set the 700th goal landmark.
Ronaldo is hopeful he gets on the starting eleven on Thursday when United lock horns with Cypriot side, Omonia Nicosia.
