Reece James reacts to Chelsea’s win over Newcastle in EFL Cup

Chelsea faced Newcastle in the EFL Cup quarter-finals and celebrated a 4-2 win on penalties after the game ended in a 1-1 draw.
Callum Wilson opened the scoring, while Mykhailo Murdyk equalised for the Blues.
Now, Mauricio Pochettino’s side have reached the semi-finals and will find out their opponent following the conclusion of Liverpool vs West Ham on Wednesday.
Following the game, the Blues captain, Reece James, who is currently sidelined with a hamstring injury, took to Instagram and shared a message.
He wrote: “BIG WIN. So Happy to see you back big bro Christopher Nkunku.”

Nkunku made his debut for the club after returning from a knee injury.
