“Proper player”: James Maddison praises ex-Arsena man after England debut
Following his England debut in the Euro 2024 qualifier against Malta, Crystal Palace player Eberechi Eze received praise from his fellow countryman.
Maddison, who himself was substituted for Eze during the match, took to Instagram to congratulate the former Arsenal youngster and express his admiration.
“Congratulations brother. Well deserved. Proper player,” he wrote.
Eze, who began his football journey with Arsenal before facing rejections from several clubs including Fulham, Reading, and Millwall, has gained recognition for his talents.
