Pep Guardiola provides TRIPLE injury update ahead of Liverpool clash
Manchester City prepare to face Liverpool in an away Premier League game on Sunday, March 10, 2024.
City are currently second in the league table with just one point behind the Reds, who are leading the table.
Ahead of the game, Pep Guardiola gave a press conference and provided injury news on Jack Grealish, Jeremy Doku and Matheus Nunes.
Grealish and Doku were absent in the win against Copenhagen on Wednesday in the Champions League round of 16 second leg clash, while Nunes suffered a serious hand injury in the 3-1 win.
“We have a day off today – tomorrow we are training, and we will see how they feel,” said Guardiola.
“We played three days after [the Manchester derby] and we have qualified for the Champions League.
“Yesterday morning we started to think about Liverpool.”
