Paul Merson predicts the winner in Arsenal vs Chelsea

The Gunners are currently sitting in second place in the Premier League table, one point behind the leaders Manchester City. They will be looking to have a successful clash with the Blues in order to fight for the league title.
Chelsea, meanwhile, are in struggles sitting in 12th place in the league table. They are yet to win a game under the newly-appointed caretaker coach Frank Lampard.
The game between the two teams is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, May 2, 2023. Ahead of it, Merson has shared his thoughts, backing the Gunners to be the winners.
“I just don’t see this being a hard game for Arsenal. I’d be shocked if Chelsea won. I’m looking at their fixtures and wondering where their next win could be coming from. Sure, they’ve got Nottingham Forest at home coming up but that’s the only relatively easy-looking fixture,” the pundit said on Sportskeeda.
