The Nigerian Striker Finally call-to-order the talks surrounding his arrival at Old Trafford.

Victor Osimhen has already previously rejected any talks of him being interested in Premier League move amid Manchester United interest.

The Napoli striker have been on Man United’s shortlist of targets for a longtime as Erik Ten Hag looks for more forward line options in this summer transfer window.

The 24-year-old has done his national side proud since joining Napoli in the summer of 2020 for a club-record fee of £63 million.

His club side Napoli are top of the league in the Series A as he proves to be in the best form of his life. Osimhen’s contribution has been vital with 11 goals in 16 matches so far for Napoli.

United have been linked with a move for him even before the World Cup commenced and Osimhen is on the club’s shortlist of targets for the summer alongside Wout Weghorst too.

The news now is that Osimhen has rejected a move to the Premier League side again and won’t leave Napoli anytime soon.

“Many predicted I will move to the EPL, and I had a lot of interesting offers from some clubs,” Osimhen told CAFOnline in September 2020. “But Napoli was the best choice for me”.

“It was so because of the kind of player I want to be in the future, and the kind of great career I want to have. I have no doubt that Napoli is the club I need to achieve that greater height.

“The relationship between me and the coach and President (Aurelio De Laurentiis) is a very interesting one, because even before I came to Napoli, I spoke with both. They convinced me even more to sign for Napoli.

“The relationship is going very well, and I just want to repay them on the pitch for the trust they have in me.”

United are currently completing a deal with Netherlands striker Wout Weghorst as the player hope to arrive at Old Trafford this summer on loan worth of €11m till the end of the season.
