In spite of losing their last four matches and being overtaken by Manchester City, Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta remains optimistic that his team can still contend for the Premier League title.

Arsenal Manager, Mikel Arteta, has stated that his team is not giving up on the Premier League title despite their recent poor form.

The Gunners have lost their last four matches, conceding 11 goals in the process, and have been leapfrogged by Manchester City, who have a one-point advantage and a game in hand.

Speaking ahead of their Tuesday night clash with Chelsea, Arteta expressed confidence in his team’s chances of turning things around, saying, “We can still achieve the Premier League. There’s five games to go and a lot of things are going to happen still.”

The Spaniard stressed the importance of learning from their recent setbacks and moving forward with full determination. “What we have to do is forget about what happened last week, learn from it and move on into the next game with full tilt, at home, with our people, London derby, and put things right,” he added.

When asked about Arsenal’s 247-night reign at the top of the table coming to an end, Arteta was upbeat, saying, “So tomorrow, 248. This is what I want. Win tomorrow and be at the top.”

Despite the uphill battle Arsenal face, Arteta’s unwavering determination to fight until it is mathematically impossible to win the title is commendable. Fans will be hoping the Gunners can bounce back from their recent poor form and give a good account of themselves against Chelsea.
