Mikel Arteta provides injury update on Reiss Nelson after Juventus game
The Gunners played a friendly match with the Serie A side prior to the end of the World Cup campaign. They faced a 2 – 0 defeat to the opponents.
During the game, Nelson picked up a suspected muscle injury and had to leave the pitch.
After the meeting, Arteta was asked about the player’s fitness, to which he replied, as per Football London:
“Well we don’t know the extent of the injury. The fact he had to leave the field straight away means its not good news.”
