Mauricio Pochettino reveals if Reece James needs surgery

Reece James suffered a hamstring injury in the defeat against Everton and is facing another spell on the sidelines.
James has just recently returned to the squad after being sidelined with hamstring issue. The defender has only made 9 appearances so far this season.
The Blues prepare to face Newcastle in the EFL Cup quarter-finals on Tuesday, December 19, 2023.
Ahead of the game, Pochettino was quizzed on James’ njury situation.
“At the moment we don’t know. Today is Monday, still time to see. We will see in the next few days and we will no the possibilities,” said when asked on possibility of surgery.
