Marcus Rashford Makes Manchester United Decision Amid Exit Rumors

Marcus Rashford was on the scoresheet on Sunday with an important goal against West Ham United, marking the only goal of that game and also his 100th for United.

With his contract set to expire the end of this season, United have an option to keep him at the club until 2024 just by triggering his extension deal.

Any delay in this could cause the Striker to speak with other clubs as he isn’t prohibited from that but United are confident they can keep him.

However, Manchester United aren’t looking to trigger the extension on Rashy’s deal rather, they prefer to open a fresh negotiation for a bigger deal in attempt to prove to the academy graduate that he is an integral part of the ongoing project.

Rashford’s future isn’t 100% with Manchester United following the fact that his agent had met with PSG before the start of the new season due to lack of playtime for his client at Old Trafford.

According to the Daily Mail, having rediscovered his form under the new manager, Marcus Rashford is now considering a renewal than an exit.

Speaking after the Sunday game, Marcus Rashford disclosed that things didn’t go well last season because he wasn’t in the right frame of mind, unlike this season when he is thriving under the new manger.

“To be honest, there is a completely different energy around the whole club, the training ground and that puts me in a better head space — I feel really motivated now,” Rashford told reporters.

“I struggled at times last season — more mental things, not my own performance. It was other things off the pitch. Too often last season I wasn’t in the right head space.

“I need to be scoring a few more headers. For me it is about getting in the areas and goals will come.”
