Ronaldo was angered by the Manager asking him to warm-up twice but ended up not puting him on the pitch.
The former Real Madrid man has already attracted criticisms from several pundits and ex-Man United players with Schmeichel it’s the first time he would agree Ronaldo was wrong.
His actions has led to Erik ten Hag taking him off the team that will face Chelsea on Saturday following discussions held by both men at the club training facility on Thursday morning.
In addition to this, Manchester United Board have taken the legal action of fining Cristiano Ronaldo.
The fine will see him deprived two weeks of pay and also make him vulnerable to a possible January departure.
Manchester United had blocked Cristiano Ronaldo’s exit last summer after a press stating they weren’t interested in selling the 37-year-old.
The 5-time Balon d’Or winner could be back when Manchester United take on Europa League opponents Sheriff.
