Manchester United Eye Serie-A Striker with €65-70m Transfer Fee
Manchester United have reportedly set their sights on Atalanta’s Rasmus Højlund, with the Italian media claiming that the Premier League giants will need to offer at least €65-70m to secure the striker’s services this summer.
According to a report in Corriere della Sera’s Bergamo edition, no formal bids have been received by Atalanta yet, with the striker’s value remaining an unknown quantity. While several clubs are believed to be keeping tabs on Højlund, it appears that they will wait until the end of the season before making any decisive moves.
Despite this, Manchester United’s interest in the 21-year-old Danish forward is said to be very real, with recent reports suggesting that they already have €50m in the bank for his acquisition.
It remains to be seen whether Atalanta will be willing to part ways with one of their most promising talents, particularly if the reported €70m valuation is met.
