Manchester United Attacker, Marcus Rashford Makes Tactical Demand To Erik ten Hag
The 25-year-old has hinted that a tactical decision from Erik ten Hag is capable of maintain his fine scoring form.
Manchester United stunned West Ham United in a 1-0 defeat on Sunday with the Academy graduate grabbing his 100th goal for United which also marked his 7th goal for the ongoing season across all competitions.
Following praises channeled towards the English man, Rashford is definitely not pausing as he is prepared to work harder to score even more goals under the new manager.
Speaking after the game against West Ham United, Rashford suggested a tactical amendment that may have him score more goals at United. “Everyone in the midfield today [against West Ham] they can cross the ball. It’s something you’re almost itching for, on this occasion it was just one but sometimes there’s two or three in the box.
“That’s the biggest thing, I have to be more aggressive especially when it’s hanging like that, I’ve got a run on the defender. If I jump before him he’s not going to beat me in the air.”
Rashy’s comments validates the reports showing ten Hag’s side since his arrival from the Eredivisie have had the one of the lowest crosses (154) in the league with Crystal Palace being the team with lower crosses (145).
It’s now left to ten Hag if he can compromise his tactics in order to see Rashford fulfill his promise of scoring more goals.
