Manchester City will be looking to bolster their squad and the Cityzens already have quite a number of players lined up to bring to the Etihad.

Manchester City’s interest in Crystal Palace star Eberechi Eze remains alive, despite their inability to secure his services during the recent summer transfer window.

Pep Guardiola had been eager to add another midfield talent to his squad, and after a failed attempt to sign Lucas Paqueta from West Ham, the Premier League champions turned their attention to Eze and Matheus Nunes.

While City managed to secure Matheus Nunes in a £53 million deal with Wolves, they haven’t given up on Eze. According to reports from Football Insider, the South London club values the Englishman at approximately £70 million. Eze’s contract at Selhurst Park runs until 2025.

Eberechi Eze has made a significant impact in the Premier League over the past few seasons. In the previous season, he contributed with 10 goals and four assists in 40 appearances, helping Crystal Palace achieve a mid-table finish.

In the current season, the 25-year-old has made nine appearances in various competitions, scoring one goal and providing two assists. His consistent performances have certainly captured Manchester City’s attention.
