Liverpool Picks Shocking Interest In French Midfielder As Fabinho’s Possible Backup

The club is in serious need of midfield reinforcement as some players now looks aged, lacks the energy and loses the ball too easily in the field.

Jurgen Klopp have previously declared interest for a lot of midfielder even before the World Cup commenced with the Brighton star Moises Caicedo and Borussia Dortmund Man Jude Bellingham being his top target.

Thuram is a Fabinho-like presence and could prove to be a perfect long-term heir to the Brazilian in defensive midfield. The Nice star is tall, capable of winning aerial duels and second balls and has the passing skills to satisfy Klopp.

21-year-old Khephren Thuram has also played at centre-back in his young career – just as Fabinho has done in the past for the Reds.
