Liverpool End Interest In Jude Bellingham.
Liverpool Football Club has reportedly abandoned their pursuit of Jude Bellingham for the upcoming summer transfer window, according to sources familiar with the matter.
Despite being a top target for the club, Borussia Dortmund’s asking price for the young English midfielder is believed to be too high, exceeding what Liverpool is willing to pay. Dortmund reportedly values Bellingham at £135 million, which would significantly impact Liverpool’s ability to remodel their midfield.
The 19-year-old Bellingham has already earned 24 senior caps and impressed at the 2022 World Cup, making him an attractive target for many top clubs, including Liverpool. However, Liverpool’s focus this summer is on revamping their midfield, and a prolonged negotiation over Bellingham would not serve their best interests.
Instead, Liverpool is said to be exploring alternative options for their midfield, with players such as Ryan Gravenberch of Bayern Munich, Moises Caicedo of Brighton, Matheus Nunes of Wolves, and Mason Mount of Chelsea believed to be on their radar.
