Lewis Hamilton: Maybe Russell will experiment more in the second part of the season
Team drivers Hamilton and George Russell have often chosen different settings in preparation for the weekend, with Lewis tinkering with more radical solutions.
We are probably going to be a bit more cautious with our experimentation as it puts a lot of pressure on you as the weekend goes on, especially if you only have two practices on a dry track and the third, for example, is missing.
We learned a lot over the weekend in Canada and we can make improvements. But in the race the pace was really great, it’s very nice, it wasn’t always like this with the new car. It was great to compete with it – with her or him, whatever you want to call the car,” said the seven-time F1 champion.
