Laliga Club Sets Sights on 21-Year-Old Real Madrid Starlet
Real Madrid’s young midfielder Sergio Arribas has been turning heads with his standout performances for the club’s Castilla team in recent seasons. Despite his impressive form, the 21-year-old has yet to establish himself in the first team under the guidance of Carlo Ancelotti.
However, it appears that Arribas may have an opportunity to secure regular first-division football at a different club next season. La Liga side Girona has reportedly expressed interest in acquiring the services of the talented attacking midfielder.
Renowned journalist June Lavin broke the news, stating that Girona manager Michel has been keeping a keen eye on Arribas and has even visited the Valdebebas ground to watch him in action. Girona’s director Quique Carcel is also said to be interested in the young star.
Arribas has been having another stellar season with Raul Gonzalez’s Castilla side, scoring 13 goals and providing eight assists in the current campaign. His versatility and attacking prowess have undoubtedly caught the attention of potential suitors like Girona.
