Kalvin Phillips sends five-word message to Rico Lewis following goal in Sevilla win
City faced Sevilla in the Champions League last group stage game and celebrated a 3-1 victory. La Liga side opened the scoring as Rafa Mir scored at the 31st minute.
However, in the second half, City took the game to their hands and scored three goals as Rico Lewis, Julian Alvarez and Riyad Mahrez got their names on the scoresheet.
Lewis scored on his first start for Pep Guardiola’s side and became the youngest scorer on his first start in the Champions League.
Taking to Instagram, Phillips, who is currently sidelined due to a shoulder injury, wrote: ” Buzzing for @rico.lewis!!What a player.”
