Josko Gvardiol breaks silence on his failed summer transfer to Chelsea
Gvardiol was heavily linked with the move to Stamford Bridge last summer, however, any deal didn’t materialize.
The Croatia international caught the eye of a number of top side following the World Cup performances, while his future at RB Leipzig is still unclear.
“They did not give up, but it was agreed that we would go for the winter,” Gvardiol said when speaking about Chelsea’s summer interest.
“Winter has come, so we need to see what and how to proceed, but it’s okay, there’s still plenty of time, we’ll see,” the player added.
