“I am a big threat” – Marcus Rashford claims after top Everton performance
Marcus Rashford admits he’s a big threat now thanks to how Manchester United are playing under new manager Erik ten Hag.
Man United beat Everton 3-1 at Old Trafford on Friday night in the FA Cup third round and Rashford’s performance stood out.
The England international provided the assist to Antony’s opener, forced in an own goal in the second half and scored from the penalty spot in injury time.
Rashford has now scored five goals and provided three assists in his last five matches, hence he’s in dangerous form currently and teams are obviously not planning on facing him.
Speaking after the game, he told MUTV: “I feel I can still improve on things and be a threat for longer periods in the game. There are things I’m still working on.
“I feel I’m a big threat in matches and a lot of it is due to the number of passes we have within the team, it’s tough to defend against if we’re making runs in the right areas, it’s difficult for any time to defend against.”
