“He has been really good” – Pep Guardiola Reveals Player That Could Wreck Havoc Against Bayern Munich.

Manchester City Manager Pep Guardiola heaped praise on Jack Grealish’s recent form following his side’s impressive 4-1 victory over Southampton at St. Mary’s on Saturday evening.

The Premier League champions managed to reduce their deficit to table-toppers Arsenal to just five points ahead of their crucial meeting with Liverpool on Sunday.

Erling Haaland and Julian Alvarez also got amongst the goals for the Citizens, but it was Grealish’s eye-catching performance that caught the attention of Guardiola. Speaking ahead of Manchester City’s Champions League clash against Bayern Munich on Tuesday, the Spanish manager hailed his record signing’s contribution, saying: “He (Grealish) has been really good. With the quality we have up front, it can make the difference.”

Despite Grealish missing a significant opportunity in the opening minutes of the game, Guardiola believes that the England international’s maturity and focus were key to the team’s success. “He (Grealish) had a big, big chance in the first minutes and it could have changed how we played in the first half, but sometimes you have to mature into the game and keep the focus,” added the Manchester City boss.

With a tough fixture against Thomas Tuchel’s Bayern Munich looming, Guardiola will hope that Grealish and his team can continue their impressive run of form and secure a place in the last four of the Champions League and go further to win the Champions League.
