Five Chelsea players ruled out of EFL Cup game against Manchester City
City will host the Blues in the EFL Cup third round on Wednesday. Graham Potter’s side continue to deal with several injuries as Ben Chilwell, Reece James, Kepa Arrizabalaga, N’Golo Kante and Wesley Fofana are sidelined.
It was confirmed on Friday, that Chilwell is going to miss the World Cup due to the hamstring injury that he suffered against Dinamo Zagreb.
Chelsea injury list is as follows:
- Wesley Fofana – knee injury
- N’Golo Kante – hamstring injury
- Reece James – knee injury
- Kepa Arrizabalaga – ankle injury
- Ben Chilwell – hamstring injury
