Erik ten Hag explains his decision to loan Manchester United youngster Amad Diallo
The 20-year-old attacker is yet to push himself to United’s first-team squad following his arrival at Old Trafford back in January of 2021.
Diallo spent half of the 2021/22 campaign on loan at Rangers, while last summer he was loaned to Sunderland for further improvement.
“In that moment I didn’t see him in the starting XI or a player who had already had an impact,” Ten Hag explained when speaking about Amad.
“But I see and value and his potential and capabilities,” the manager added.
