David Beckham Sends Message To Cristiano Ronaldo Amid 700th Goal Milestone
Cristiano Ronaldo netted his 700th goal on Sunday as Manchester United came from behind to steal all points at Goodison Park.
The Portuguese has become the first player to reach 700 career goals with Lionel Messi closely chasing down with just 11 goals behind.
Ronaldo had been without a goal since the start of the 2022/2023 season which explained why he chose the ‘peace of mind’ celebration when he finally found the back of the net on Sunday.
Reacting to the achievement, former Manchester United player, David Beckham took to his Instagram page to celebrate the 37-year-old.
Posting two pictures of Ronaldo, one younger and the other; a current Ronaldo, Beckham wrote on the pictures, ‘how it started and how it’s going.’

Ronaldo hopes to be in the starting line up again this Thursday when Manchester United take on Omonia Nicosia.
The former Real Madrid man has spent most of this season game on the bench but with Anthony Martial out on injury, it’s unlikely Ronaldo will be getting more time on the bench if he has actually rediscovered his spark.
