Cristiano Ronaldo not part of Manchester United travelling squad to Fulham
Manchester United will be without talisman Cristiano Ronaldo against Fulham after the Portuguese star wasn’t part of the travelling squad to London.
Man United are keen on bouncing back to winning ways in the Premier League, having lost 3-1 at Aston Villa last time out, but they have a chance against Fulham on Sunday evening.
The Red Devils’ chances of doing so may have been thwarted as they are without the five-time Ballon d’Or winner in their squad due to illness.
Manchester United will be without both winger Jadon Sancho and Antony, due to illness and injury respectively.
Diogo Dalot wasn’t also part of the squad as he’s suspended after receiving his fifth booking of the season against Aston Villa last weekend.
Aaron Wan-Bissaka wasn’t part of the travelling squad, and that was a shock, given he’s the favourite to start at right-back following Dalot’s suspension.
According to MEN, below is the Manchester United squad that travelled to London to face Fulham on Sunday.
Goalkeepers: De Gea, Dubravka, Bishop;
Defenders: Maguire, Lindelof, Martinez, Shaw, Malacia;
Midfielders: Casemiro, McTominay, Iqbal, Fred, Fernandes, Eriksen, Van de Beek;
Forwards: Shoretire, Garnacho, Elanga, Rashford, Martial
