The UFC began selling tickets for the tournament on January 8. They were sold out in less than 18 hours. All tickets were available at prices ranging from 200 to 1400 USD.
UFC 257 will take place at the Etihad Arena. The Abu Dhabi Department of Culture and Tourism said it would allow a limited number of fans to enter the stands.
Earlier, UFC President Dana White said that the winner of the Poirier – McGregor fight will be able to claim the championship title. Currently, the lightweight title belongs to Russian Khabib Nurmagomedov, but after defeating Justin Gage, he announced his retirement from MMA.
