Barcelona’s Youngster Estanis Pedrola is reportedly being scouted by Serie-A side Lecce.

Barcelona’s young talent, Estanis Pedrola, is undoubtedly making a name for himself in the football world. The 19-year-old winger has been a force to be reckoned with for the club’s subsidiary team under the watchful eye of Rafa Marquez.

Despite a setback early in the season when he suffered a back injury, Estanis made a triumphant return to the field and has been in red-hot form ever since. With eight goals in 17 matches for Barça Atletic, seven of which were scored in his last 12 appearances, it’s no wonder that he’s caught the attention of first-team manager, Xavi Hernandez.

Estanis’ recent progress has piqued the interest of other clubs, with reports from  Mundo Deportivo  suggesting that Serie A side Lecce is looking to sign the Spaniard in the summer.

Lecce is said to be open to taking the young talent on loan or even paying a transfer fee to secure his signature. This is good news for the player, given that his current contract is set to expire in 2024.

However, it’s worth noting that Barcelona is in control of Estanis’ contract situation. They have a unilateral two-year extension option, which they plan to exercise. This will likely put an end to Lecce’s hopes of signing the young talent and keep him at Barcelona for the foreseeable future.
