Oleksandr Zinchenko, who suffered a minor calf injury, missed the last two matches of the season but is anticipated to make a full recovery in time for pre-season.

The decision to rest him was made to avoid any further risks, as his contribution to the team has been significant since joining last season.

Gabriel Martinelli also suffered an ankle injury that kept him out for the final month of the season. However, previous reports suggested that the Brazilian would be available for pre-season, which is a positive development.

Takehiro Tomiyasu and Mohamed Elneny encountered more severe knee injuries that required surgery and were expected to have a recovery period of around six months.

Nevertheless, there have been sightings of both players working on their fitness at London Colney, indicating encouraging progress in their rehabilitation.

While there hasn’t been recent news on William Saliba’s back injury, there is optimism that he will return for pre-season.

The manager has mentioned that the French international is making rapid progress, instilling hope that he will be ready for the start of the upcoming campaign.
