The body ahead of the new season have already disclosed plans on how the season would be with a mid-season break set at the 13-20 January 2024.
Premier League has also stated that ‘no two rounds of matches in the Christmas and new year period will take place within 48 hours of each other,’ as this is to see to the promise made to clubs to address the tight fixtures.
“The season schedule returns to normal following the Covid-19 pandemic and the Qatar 2022 World Cup, which provided disruption during the previous three seasons,” Premier League wrote.
The new season start date allows a 76-day clear break from the end of the 2022/2023 season. The end of the 2023/2024 season will be on May 19th, 2024 which will allow players rest better betwwen the end date and also during the international games in June.
The new season will consist of 34 weekend match days, three midweek match days and one Bank Holiday match day.
