Real Madrid’s Antonio Rudiger has provided updates as regards his fitness as the Los Blanco look to defend their Champions League title.

Real Madrid defender Antonio Rudiger has made a strong affirmation regarding his fitness levels ahead of their highly anticipated UEFA Champions League quarter-final first-leg clash against Chelsea

Despite having pulled out of Madrid’s recent 6-0 league victory over Real Valladolid due to injury concerns, the German international returned in time for their match against Barcelona. While he remained unused during that game, he made a decisive return to the starting XI against Villarreal.

When asked about the status of his fitness, Rudiger confidently stated, “Yes, everything is fine. It was a little pain in the knee, but I’m available,” while speaking to Juan Ignacio Garcia-Ochoa for MARCA .

As both teams prepare to lock horns once again, the spotlight will be on Rudiger as he aims to make an impact for his current team and leave a mark on the highly coveted competition.
