I think too much has been made of Spain’s demise and while the Czechs aren’t necessarily the worst team out there, you’d expect Spain to deal with this fairly comfortably.
We haven’t had a big win in the tournament yet, Germany are the only side to lead 2-0 in a game and also the only side to win by a two goal margin. But if anyone can replicate this or even better in it, during the first round of games, then it’s likely to be Spain. To find value, I think the play here is Spain -1 at 6/5 with William Hill. The Czech’s really do look a poor defensive outlet in truth. In qualifying they conceded in all of their ten games, it would appear as though this trend won’t be stopping now they are entering the finals of this tournament.
