The script here is easy: Real Madrid are 2:0 down after the first leg, and if Wolfsburg score it becomes very hard indeed for Cristiano Ronaldo and his team, as they would essentially need to go and score four goals. Scoring four goals in any game is hard, but to do so against a good side – one that carries with them a 2-0 aggregate lead – would be even harder!
You can back Wolfsburg to score and Real Madrid to win at 2.25 which is a decent bet here. Wolfsburg aren’t necessarily the most cavalier team, but I think almost everybody, even Dieter Hecking, knows that the away goal makes life easier. And as Real Madrid have no other option but to attack, Wolfsburg should get plenty of opportunities on the break.
