I think folks are a little too sold on this idea that Manchester United are defensively tight, ‘supposedly boring’ and that the Newcastle United game was just a blip. That may explain why under 2.5 goals is relatively low. But if Liverpool who plays at a higher pace at home, will impose their tempo on this game, I think it could open up. Liverpool’s defensive woes also point to the overs. And I simply don’t think it suits Van Gaal to go to Anfield and park the bus. For that reason, I’m going the other way. Take over 2.5 goals at 2.25 with William Hill.
