This hinges on how Italy defend. If they get sucked back into the safety blanket of deep defending, then Spain can pass circles around them and, likely, eventually break through. If they actually attack and engage then it could take a different turn. Especially if Italy can impose a higher tempo on the game. In this, they’re aided by the fact that most of the front six took the third group game off, whereas Del Bosque kept the same lineup. But the loss of Candreva is a blow to Italy. Not easy to find value, but over 2.5 goals, in what could be a high-tempo, open game, at a whopping 2/1 is too big to ignore.
