After Borussia’s disappointing last season, in which they were expected to give Bayern more of a fight, Borussia will once again be expected to finish towards the top of the league this season.

Eintracht finished last season in fifth place. The season was bittersweet, as despite qualifying for the Europa League they could have finished the league in a higher position, only for Wolfsburg and Borussia Dortmund to take away their chances.
Eintracht have suffered a major loss for the new season, as their best player of the last two seasons, André Silva, has left for Red Bull Leipzig for a fee of 23 million. André scored 45 official goals in his two seasons in Frankfurt.
