The Kazakh has a strong freestyle wrestling base and is a former Alash Pride league champion. Artem represents the MDT Fighters, but trains in many top gyms. Reznikov trained to fight Koshkin in Alma-Ata along with fighters such as Alexander “Tiger” Sarnavsky and Vitaly “Zhinkin Lion” Slipenko. In their most recent clash, “Spartan” won former UFC fighter, Davi Ramos, by unanimous decision of the judges and advanced to the semifinals of the ACA Lightweight Grand Prix.
Andrey Koshkin is not as popular a fighter as Reznikov – but not less experienced. Andrei has a steep background not only in professional MMA but also in amateur sports. He has twice won the world champion title in pankration and holds the title of a world-class athlete.
For a long time, the 32-year-old Russian competed in the lightweight division but then decided to move up a category. In ACA welterweight Koshkin had four fights: two victories and two defeats. In his last fight, Andrey won the fight against Altynbek Mamashev by unanimous decision of the judges, after which he secured himself second place in the rating.
