West Ham will go head to head against Aston Villa in Game week 27 of the English Premier League 2022/23 season.
Tournament – Premier League;
Date – 12/03/2023;
Kick-Off – 14:00 CET;
Venue – London Stadium (London)
West Ham’s determination to finish outside the relegation zone will inspire them to get the most out of there remaining home matches, just like we witnessed them thrash Nottingham Forest 4-0 last two weekends. Aston Villa may be stronger at the moment, but West Ham are the favourites to win the game for some reason.
There’s a chance this game could produce at least three goals because West Ham’s last three games ended with over 2.5 goals and three of Aston Villa’s last five games ended similarly.
The Hammers, who lost 4-0 to Brighton last weekend, will face AEK Larnaca in the Europa Conference League on Thursday night and that’s a chance for David Moyes’ side to bounce back to winning ways ahead of this weekend’s Premier League clash against Villa. West Ham are in the 16th position with 25 points after 25 matches in the league.
Aston Villa
The Villas recorded their second league win on a bounce when they sealed a tight 1-0 win over Crystal Palace over the weekend. Before both wins over Palace and Everton, Unai Emery’s side lost three league games in a row. However, they remain in the 11th position with 34 points after 25 matches.
West Ham: Areola, Emerson, Ogbonna, Aguerd, Johnson, Rice, Soucek, Paqueta, Benrahma, Ings, Bowen
