Liverpool are flying on the wings of Klopp, and it looks as though this could well be their Europa League, but Villarreal, who’re a very tough opponent, stand between them and a place in the final. Because of their name, and the fact they knocked out the tournament favourites in the previous round, Liverpool are given the status of favourites for this one, but tactically there really doesn’t seem to be much between themselves and the Yellow Submarine.
Once again it will be a 180 minute game, and Klopp won’t make the mistake of underestimating the opponent. In fact, Liverpool saw two of their three knock-out away games end with a first half draw, as did Villarreal at home. For both of them to make it a third half time draw we can get odds of 1.85. Which, all things considered, isn’t that bad given how likely it seems, in what will surely be a low-scoring, tight first leg.
