Paco Ayestaran has already changed a lot at Valencia, a team who will now be all of a sudden full of confidence having beaten Barcelona at the Camp Nou on Sunday. I think they now have enough courage to defeat Eibar at home, and think that in doing so they should be capable of scoring at least twice. Yes, they may concede, but playing the same way they did at Nou Camp can bring Valencia a clear win. And if Diego Alves finds his best form, Valencia could easily win to nil against a side who’ve struggled on the road for some time now.
Eibar have very little to play for now, as there should now be no uncertainty over their stay in La Liga, for another year at least. Win or lose here, it doesn’t really matter, and will carry little significance, so I back Valencia to win and total goals over 1.5.
