This is a match between two sides with totally different aims this season. The home side Ufa are trying to avoid slipping down towards the relegation side whilst CSKA Moscow are looking to clinch their sixth Russian Premier League title.
Ufa were looking as though they would be sitting in midtable mediocrity come the end of the season but a recent poor run has seen them slide down the table, and the team from Bashkortostan are in serious danger of going into the dreaded relegation play-offs.
CSKA know that they realistically need to win their remaining three games in order to ensure another title. Whilst many teams would crumble in that situation, it seems the Moscow side have thrived under the pressure and are unbeaten in their last five matches.
I expect CSKA to record a convincing away victory and their 3-0 win at Ural a couple of weeks ago showed they can put teams to the sword. Additionally, Ufa have conceded 39 goals this season which is down there with the worst sides in the division and to further pile on the misery for Ufa in this game, their highly rated youngster Oleksandr Zinchenko is struggling for match fitness.
