Tuesday bet of the day
Prediction: Any team to win + Under 4.5 goals
Odds: 1.54
Reason: Chelsea lost their last five matches and each of these games ended with less than 3.5 goals and the majority of these games ended with under 2.5 goals. Arsenal may have drawn three of their last five league games, but they are the huge favourites to win this game. Plus, the reverse fixture ended with 1-0 for the Gunners, 12 + under 4.5 looks decent.
Prediction: Any team to win [12]
Odds: 1.22
Reason: Both teams are in superb form, having won four and lost one of their last five matches. In their last five meetings, only on one occasion they played over 2.5 goals when Lens won 3-0 last year, and one occasion both teams scored. One of their last five meetings ended in a draw.
Prediction: Both teams to score
Odds: 1.78
Reason: Their last three meetings ended with both teams getting on the score sheets and because this is a cup game, there’s a huge chance both teams could get on the scoreboard.
Prediction: Barnet to win or draw
Odds: 1.43
Reason: Barnet head into this game as the favourites but because they have drawn three of their last five league matches, there’s a huge chance this game could settle for a draw against Boreham, who recorded only one draw in their last five matches.
Prediction: Chelmsford or St Albans to win
Odds: 1.25
Reason: Chelmsford drew only one of their last five league matches, St Albans didn’t record any draw in their last five matches. Both teams drew nine times out of 46 matches, hence this game is unlikely to end in a draw.
Prediction: Halftime outcome: Barcelona to win
Odds: 1.51
Reason: Barcelona are the strongest favourites to win this game easily. They won four of their last five meetings with Osasuna, and on two occasions they won 4-0. Although they came from behind to beat Osasuna 2-1 in the reverse fixture, Barca are likely to win both halves, but I’ve backed them to lead at halftime.
Prediction: Real Madrid to win either half
Odds: 1.83
Reason: Real Sociedad may have lost only one of their last five matches, but there’s a decent chance they would lose to Real Madrid tonight. Madrid, who have won four of their last five games, have shown on several occasions that they are capable of winning games even if the odds are against them but in this case, I’d back them to win at least in one half. The last time Real visited Real Sociedad, they won 2-0.
