Surely Manchester City won’t throw away another chance of securing the Champions League spot, especially after they were handed back the initiative by Manchester United in midweek. Playing away at Swansea probably doesn’t favour an entertaining game – not that Pellegrini’s side have been entertaining of late anyway – and it’s unlikely to be a stroll in the park, especially since United are fancied to get the victory at home to Bournemouth, so as news filters through from there things could become tense. City must win here otherwise the season will be described as a poor one, although it may well be anyway. There will certainly be nerves and this could be a tough task early on for the visitors; however, whatever way we look at it, they have the quality and if they approach this game with the right mindset then they can get the favourable result. It look as though it might be worth taking something a little bit more ambitious in this one, and I think the second half will be when City secure their Champions League place. Thus the combined bet of Draw First Half-City Second Half looks a nice bet at odds of 4.60.
