Southampton to win
Southampton are coming off back-to-back defeats to Aston Villa and then Newcastle United, however, they should be able to claim all three points against a Watford side who have claimed just five points from 24 since Roy Hodgson took charge.

Preliminary review and match prediction for Southampton vs Watford
Southampton are coming off two straight defeats, but it should be noted that both Aston Villa and Newcastle are in the top six form sides over the past six games.
Sunday afternoon is a big opportunity to get back on track against a Watford side that looks certain for the drop.
Prior to the two defeats, the Saints went unbeaten in five and drew 1-1 with Manchester City during that time.
Southampton took the lead against Newcastle on Thursday night and at times had Newcastle rattled, a similar performance against Watford should see them bounce back.
There were early signs of encouragement with Watford earning all of their three clean sheets for the season since Hodgson took charge, however, just five points in eight games and seven goals conceded in their recent two defeats combined sees the Hornets back to their usual selves.
