The sanctuary of St Mary’s
Southampton return to St Mary’s fresh off two away defeats in a row including Saturday’s 4-0 hammering against Liverpool.
The Saints are unbeaten in their last three at home so will welcome the chance to get back in the win column against Leicester City. However, this will prove difficult after Leicester got back to winning ways on Sunday.
Armando Broja scored two goals in last two home starts before getting injured last month. He played the full 90 minutes on Saturday after making two substitute appearances in the games previous.

Foxes back to winning ways
Leicester City ended a three-game winless streak on Sunday by beating Watford 4-2 at home.
Jamie Vardy also ended a four-game goal drought, scoring two goals and keeping up his good form against Watford. James Maddison on his first Premier League start since injury assisted both Vardy goals as well as chipping in with the opener.
The return of Maddison could coincide with an upturn in Leicester’s fortunes as the next five league fixtures including this one are all winnable.
Southampton vs Leicester City predictions
After losses to Norwich and then Liverpool we believe Southampton are currently on a downturn. And with Maddison back to full strength and Vardy out of his goal drought, there couldn’t be a worse time for Southampton to face Leicester.
Two years ago, Leicester beat Southampton 9-0 at St Mary’s and while we certainly do not expect that scoreline again we do predict that Leicester will get the victory.
We also recommend backing both teams to score. Although Southampton do struggle in front of goal, Leicester have one of the leakiest defences in the league. We fancy Southampton to contribute at least one goal to the scoreline.
