Sheffield Wednesday were thumped 4-1 at Bristol City last weekend but I’d expect the Owls to bounce back to life on Saturday when they welcome Ipswich to Hillsborough.
Wednesday have W11-D5-L1 in their last 17 as hosts and W12-D2-L1 when welcoming sides below them in the Championship standings. No side has scored more goals (38) on home soil than the Owls and since mid-December they’ve returned W11-D5-L4.
The hosts are an attractive 1.83 to keep their play-off push alive against an Ipswich side that seem to be meandering towards May.
This weekend the Tractor Boys travel without key striker Daryl Murphy and midfield man Teddy Bishop, whilst Larsen Touré and Luke Varney are rated doubtful.
Mick McCarhy’s men have W1-D3-L4 in their last eight on the road, failing to score on five occasions. And Town’s calendar year form reads W5-D5-L7 as they’ve scored more than one goal in just four of those 17 contests, firing eight blanks.
